Democracies in Flux – LGBTI+ struggles, feminist politics, and anti-gender contestations

Updated programme is out for our international conference, June 29-30 in Paris, free and open for all. Download the new programme with abstracts here. The conference is free and open for all.

In addition to our keynotes – Phillip M. Ayoub, Lenka Vráblíková and Elspeth Mitchell, we will have wonderful presentations divided in 5 panels from researchers and/or activists, as well as a poetry reading with Lily Robert-Foley and Toni R. Juncosa, two participative workshops and a participative “installation”.

We are also happy to be able to show Liad Hussein Kantorowicz’s film No Democracy Here, followed by a discussion with the director and with the researcher Tal Dor.

Thanks Myra el Mir for the amazing poster and programme design.

The organizing comittee, Katja Kahlina, Heta Rundgren, Riikka Taavetti, Myra El Mir, Toni Juncosa, Diego Paz, Florence Neige Eyeang Etouke and Anambar Aditya Chaudhury is looking forward to meeting you all and facilitating the event.
